It’s great to know that we need to consume foods that are good for us, but sometimes it can be a challenge to understand how to put it all together. In this episode we discuss how to purchase food at a reasonable price and how to utilize online tools such as Pinterest to help with recipes and ideas.
I have learned that sometimes it’s not as difficult as I make it to craft food that is affordable and organic in many cases. I have been transitioning to organic produce as much as possible lately and I am really enjoying learning more about what’s available.
My favorite store has been Aldi’s organic section. It affordable! When I’m not able to get fresh produce or if I know that I’m going to be traveling, I will often opt for organic fruits and vegetables.
I try very hard to ensure that I eat more plant based, but I do consume animal protein. I try to find local farmers in my area that I can purchase meat from. It’s been pretty fun and I’ve been able to get to know a lot more amazing people.
Pinterest is my absolute favorite site ever! I try very hard to gain as many recipes from there as possible. As a matter of fact, here are some of my favorite boards!
