Yoga and Gentle Movement-Interview with Sarah Cuellar

Stress has run rampant in our society. We’re so busy rushing to get from point A to point B. You day may start with preparing lunch, dinner, get the kids ready for school, pick up this from the dry cleaners and oh, you a huge presentation for a customer at work tomorrow. I have felt burned out at many points in my adult life and I decided one day that I was sick of being tired. So I tried something different…meditation and yoga.

Meditation is such a good practice that many of us often overlook. When my heart is racing, I have learned how important it is to take a deep breath and calm myself down. In today’s episode, I talked to a good friend and yoga instructor, Sarah Cuellar.

We discussed the importance of trying out different practices to center yourself. While many of us may not have time to go to a yoga studio, I learned that you only need five to ten minutes to get started. Small changes can really make a difference! You can also check out Youtube as there are plenty of yoga and meditation videos that you can watch in the comfort of your own home. I also have two apps that I love:
